Latin saying- Vires acquirit eundo
Meaning- She gathers strength as she goes
I grew up singing this song from one of our families favorite movies. My dad liked it so much he told me he wanted me to sing it at his funeral someday. I didn’t understand the power of it’s message back then, but as I was drawing this image the tune flooded back.
I had to look up the lyrics to remember. They brought me to tears and I haven’t stopped humming.
They go like this.... Music boxes have within,
melodies they carry with them
once they're open music fills the air.

Every person you have known,
has a song of their own,
once they open up you'll
hear whats there.

It's not easy you must listen
with your heart for what lies hidden.

There was a melody, locked deep
inside of me but now its free,
It found a place embraced
by harmony, sweet harmony,

Love more than anything,
Teaches our hearts to sing,
Only love, could break the shell,
now I know, very well,
the love within myself.
